Elderberry Spritz

This Easy Elderberry Spritz recipe is going to be a new staple in your home (or next party!). You can actually make any of our tonics into an easy, bubbly drink, but with the change of seasons upon us, this immune boosting spritz is a must try!

Not only does this drink come together in less than a minute, but it’s one that’s so delicious and pretty that it makes for a great non-alcoholic cocktail party option. For the Elderberry Spritz we’ll be using Goldthread’s Elderberry Defense tonic. It’s packed with vitamins and minerals from elderberry, hibiscus, ginger, cinnamon, and more. The unique blend of herbs has a delicious tartness to it, without being overly earthy or sweet.

Some of my favorite benefits of this function-forward tonic are that it can help to reduce inflammation and replenish the body—all the while helping to boost immunity!

All you need for this recipe is Elderberry Defense, your favorite sparkling water, and a garnish like sage or rosemary!

  • ⅓ cup Elderberry Defense
  • ¼ cup Sparkling water
  • ¼ Sage or rosemary for garnish (optional)


  1. Grab your favorite drinking glass and fill it about ⅓ of the way with Elderberry Defense.
  2. Top off with sparkling water, add your garnish and enjoy!
