This Lavender Lemon tonic is spirit-free for an any-time-of-the-day drink to wind down with. The star ingredient, our Lavender Bliss tonic, blends lavender, lemon verbena, linden, chamomile, elderflower, saffron, and butterfly pea flower to alleviate tension by soothing the nervous system and promoting a balanced stress response.
INGREDIENTS:
For Honey Simple Syrup:- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
For Lavender Lemon Tonic:
- 4-5 blackberries
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
- 2 oz. Lavender Bliss Tonic
- 1 oz. honey simple syrup (see above for recipe)
- Tonic water, to top off
- Lemon, for garnish
- Lavender sprig, for garnish
Optional Ingredients:
- 1 oz. gin
INSTRUCTIONS:
To Make the Honey Simple Syrup:
Combine honey and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until honey is dissolved, then pour into a sealable container and let cool completely.
To Make the Cocktail:
In the bottom of a mixing glass, muddle the blackberries and lemon until jammy. Pour in the Lavender Bliss tonic and honey simple syrup and stir to combine. Strain into a tall glass and top with tonic water. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of lavender.
