These Turmeric Ginger Shots are an easy-to-make aperitif (or digestif!) with ingredients you can find at any grocery store or market.
Take 2 oz. before or after a meal to support healthy digestion. Turmeric is also known to invigorate circulation and ease inflammation. If you're coming down with something, add a pinch of cayenne or oregano for an extra immune boost.
INGREDIENTS
Wash ginger and turmeric with a vegetable brush (no need to peel), and peel the lemons. Juice the ginger, turmeric, and lemons. Combine the three juices with the coconut water and spoon in 2 tablespoons manuka honey (or natural sweetener) to taste and 1/16 teaspoon ground black pepper. Your shots will last in the fridge for up to seven days so you can make a whole batch and enjoy throughout the week.
